Only 300 swimmers may enter.

Online Registration opens April 12, 2013 and closes August 5, 2013.

Location: Kitsilano Beach

Distances: 1.5 km, 3 km, 6 km, 4 x 1.5 km Relay

Check in times:

Late check-in may result in entry cancellation

7:30 am – Check-in begins for 3 & 6 km

8:15 am – Check-in closes for 3 & 6 km

8:30 am – Check-in begins for 1.5 km

9:30 am – Check-in closes for 1.5 km

Race Start Times:

Start times are approximate and may be delayed

8:30 am – 6 km Solo and Relay

8:45 am – 3 km

9:45 am – 1.5 km

Fees:

Kitsilano Challenge SOLO 1.5km, 3km or 6km	$30.00 CAD
Kitsilano Challenge RELAY 6km	$30.00 CAD (per person) All relay team members MUST register individually for this race
Kitsilano Challenge & Season pass combo special!	$65.00 CAD for both the Season Pass and the Kitsilano Challenge

VOWSA reserves the right to reschedule or cancel events if water conditions are unsafe. VOWSA reserves the right to refuse entry based on safety or health concerns or previous violations of official rules.

Don’t have a wetsuit yet? A great place to buy or rent wetsuits is International Diving Centre, 2572 Arbutus Street 604-736-2541.  They all carry a great selection of wetsuits, neoprene caps and goggles. Please mention you heard of them through VOWSA.
