Open Water Practice Swims: to be confirmed
These evening swims at Kitsilano Beach are perfect opportunities to meet new people and familiarize yourself with the challenges that await you in the open water. You can swim up to 5 km depending on your goals. You should be comfortable swimming 1 km in a pool. Sign up online and take advantage of the “Season Pass” or drop-in at the beach. If signing up at the beach, you can bring the signed Waiver with you – only one is needed for the season and we do have copies at the beach. Start time is 6pm, in the water by 6:30 pm.
Cost: $5.00 CAD Drop-in / $45 CAD for a Season Pass
Location: Kitsilano Beach close to the main tower, on the grass

20th Anniversary Canada Day Challenge: Date: to be determined
Location: Sasamat Lake (north of Port Moody). Results can be found here
80th Anniversary Bay Challenge:

Location of START of RACE: Sandy Cove (West Vancouver) to Kitsilano Beach 9 km, solo and relay
Fees: Solo = $50 CAD; Relay (2 or 3) = $100 CAD; Relay (4 or more) $100 CAD
Note: Changes to relay team qualifications this year – relay teams up to 3 members will qualify for prizes, and commemorative medals will be presented to all participants!
BOAT OPERATOR LICENSE REQUIRED

Online registration closes August 1 at midnight. Day of Race registration opens at 7:15 am – cash only. Please be there early, at 6:00, to register for all races. Registration closes: 8:00 am.

3.0 km – 0845

Relay is 4 x 1.5km
Fee: $30 CAD (solo and individual members of relay teams); Season Pass and Kitsilano Challenge = $60 CAD
Relay Team entries – Every person in the relay team registers as an individual = $30 CAD.
